Considering that is not possible in MX family of chips, what are you guys doing to have a smooth performance on a 4K monitor? Because when I change to the old 2K monitor, it works well, not a lot of lag, if any. I´ve read that Capture One´s solution, previously, would have been to add a eGPU. The masks (that are drawn with a Wacom Tablet) present a lag of 1s+, which makes it very difficult to judge the adjustment, transforming it in a paint & erase game, as the changes only become effective after my last stroke. No lag when applying masks or slider movement. I´m also migrating from a Windows workspace to a macOS one, so I have both machines at disposal.Ĭapture One has been my raw converter and editor of choice for many years, and it runs great on the Windows machine (i5-9400, GTX 970 so, nothing to write home about, but has a dedicated GPU). I´m using a Mac Mini M1 with a Benq SW271c 4k monitor that I absolutely love.
